Conspiracy Theories

I'm not a big fan of them. However, I love to watch conspiracy videos for some reason. Here is one without the usual fear tactics and time wasting. If anyone can send me anything intelligent to the contrary (besides the pancake theory which is addressed), please, feel free.

Controlled Demolition

  • Interesting, but then so is the easily demonstrated failure of the construction method, ie: floors suspended from the central elevator core.
The effect of rubble down on lower floors, unsupported at their extremities, would be that demonstrated in the footage, the successive collapse of each floor in turn.
In fact the symmetry suggests that sequence would be far easier to achieve through the design than through staged explosives.
But then I never did much like conspiracy theories.

  • It could be all a plot. Or it could be that the WTC towers were a shoddy construction job, just like so many construction and renovation jobs. Ever had work done on your home? I find that easier to believe than that someone managed to sneak in high grade explosives and hide them in the right spots.

  • C,

Like I said, I don't really like them, but I can't help watching them. I guess they are like soap operas for news junkies.

    Elizabeth,

I used to be a contractor, so, yea, I know.

What bugs me the most is the evidence of a cover-up. But as you say, that might just be a coverup for a shoddy consruction job.

  • As I understand it, the far Left claims that the events of 9/11 were engineered by the government ostensibly so that George Bush could wage war in the Middle East (if not for this reason then may I ask why else). What makes this idea so stupid is that one has to believe that G.W.B and his administration (or who ever you want to blame) have the genius to pull off 9/11, but cant figure out a way to plant 20 gallons of chemical weapons in the Iraqi desert to make said war "legitimate". Duhhhh.

“He’s a moron” “He’s a genius” the left just can’t make up its mind.

So then being that he is an idiot, he couldn’t have created 9/11 and there was no "inside job" and he didn’t kill John Kennedy Jr. (as one of your other conspiracy videos suggests)? Right? Or are you going to hold on to the fantasies in spite of their unlikely and illogical nature.

I don’t think you actually like conspiracy videos in and of themselves, as it is only the ones that paint the Bush administration in a bad light that you present as fact. There are plenty of just as stupid ones floating around about how the U.N. is going to take over the American park system and how the Clintons killed Vince Foster that you never seem to present.

  • Arch,

I'm not presenting anything as "fact" just that it is interesting.

Bush Sr. is a very smart man. He was against the war in Iraq for example. I don't think he is stupid at all. I'm not saying he killed JFK, but he certainly has the capacity.

This video asks some important questions. It is not presented as fact but as theory as the title suggests.

If you want to dig up some interesting stuff on the other conspiracy theories, I would publish them if they are as compelling and have a commensurate impact on our society.
