I note in the post below that Iran, Syria, and Israel (and a host of other countries) all have the ability to play spoiler.

    Things are going well, thanks. Dresden is quite close indeed. I haven't made it down to the Prague Christmas markets yet, maybe next weekend. People drink a lot of hot mulled wine this time of year, but it isn't a total drunken fest (like in Dresden apparently).
