I think St. Rudy's halo is becoming more diminished by the day. Besides the abortion issue, he's taking criticism on his private business partners, his business associations w/ Kerik and a former vice chancellor of the Roman Catholic Church who helped quash claims that his clergy were raping children (that's a nice guy to go into business with), and his actions after 9/11 that put the health of NYers and Ground Zero workers at risk.
I think at any moment he could have a ferret moment!
Rudy has evident faults. But at this point it appears that the Republican candidate will run against Hillary. She has even more faults. So many, in fact, that she can't win the White House.
Therefore, the big question is not about who will represent the Republicans, but rather, WHY are Democrats willing to nominate a woman who will lose to any Republican candidate?
Let's hope he gets nominated. He's so tired and devoid of any credibility I think he would be the ruination of any Republican bid for the Oval Office in '08. But then, come to think of it, I can't see ANY Republican candidate this year, including Giuliani who could possibly appeal to anyone but a Bush lover and supporter of the war. And how many of those are there?
Well, we heard it here first. It makes sense to me. The party faithful are gonna like McCain no matter what. These same people will turn against Giuliani because of all that "family values" crapola. And the 9/11 revelations that are coming out will really sink him. When people find out that "America's Mayor" sold a lot of 9/11 rescue workers up the river, he'll sink like a stone.
The top three Democratic potential nominees have pretty consistently beat the top three Republic ones, so I'll stand by as no_slappz once again pulls his foot out of his mouth.
After watching tonight’s Republican debate on Fox, is it any wonder why the Democrats boycotted any Fox sponsored Democrat presidential candidate debate? They might have actually been asked a tough question or two, or perhaps be called out on the fact that the answer provided wasn’t one that had anything to do with the question asked! We as Americans need to ask this question: If the Democrats cant face off with the likes of Brit Hume, how in the hell could we trust them to conduct any type of foreign policy where there may be confronted with someone a little more adversarial. Clearly the Democrat candidates are freighted or unable to answer the types of questions posed by adults and are only capable of answering the sort of juvenile drivel that is dolled out to them by their media lap dogs, and as such not worthy to be president of the United States.
Brit Hume: "As President would you be more inclined to force our women to have abortions or confiscate our property and raise our taxes?" You mean those types of adult questions?

I totally disagree that Hilary cannot beat any of the Republicans.
True, Rudy polls well against her. However, I think she would eat McCain for lunch in the General Election.

I'm not overconfident.

Thanks Newsguy,
I am pretty much incognito due to recently starting an MBA program. I'm going to try to maintain the site, but my visiting is extremely limited.
